What It Is
A breakthrough in unit-dose contract packaging, this unique, glass-free system offers complete package integrity and ease of use. A one-piece molded polyethylene or propylene unit remains intact until activated by a gentle squeeze, allowing for one-hand application.

How It Works
Consumer friendly and highly versatile, JAC’s Plastic Ampoule is available in a variety of sizes and styles, ranging from dropper tips and swabs to custom brush and applicator tips. The Plastic Ampoule allows the user to activate the package with a gentle squeeze of one hand, rupturing the patented internal membrane (U.S. patent numbers 6,379,069 and 6,641,319). Another gentle squeeze then dispenses the contents onto the applicator tip. The rate and flow of the liquid is easily controlled by the user. There's nothing to cut, shear, or twist.

Package Options
James Alexander has the capability to color the Plastic Ampoule to match any Pantone Matching System^® (PMS) color. In addition, a variety of applicator tips are now offered. In addition to its standard cylindrical polyolefin applicator tip, JAC now offers a cylindrical tip with a center hole for enhanced product flow, a firmer Hytrel^®-nylon tip with a tapered design for more precise applications, and a series of brush applicator tips made in a variety of materials and configurations.
