FRANCESCA FAZZOLARI CITED FOR WORK ON BEHALF OF PROJECT SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF SUSSEX COUNTY

BLAIRSTOWN, NJ -- Francesca Fazzolari, president of the James Alexander Corporation, has received a New Jersey State Legislative Award for her volunteer efforts on behalf of Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County and the Displaced Homemaker Network of New Jersey.

A member of the Board of Directors for Project Self-Sufficiency for the past six years, she has been a galvanizing force for the organization's fund raising activities and has been extremely active in helping to provide employment opportunities and related services for the agency's clients.

"Francesca is a woman of immense generosity, kindness and empathy," explained Deborah Berry-Toon, Executive Director of Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County. "In addition to contributing significant financial resources, she invests considerable amounts of both her time and her talents, and donates food and toys at holiday times throughout the year."

Project Self-Sufficiency of Sussex County is a private nonprofit community based organization that provides comprehensive services for local single parents and displaced homemakers. These services include information, referral and advocacy; individual and group counseling; life-skill management training; education, job training and job placement; child care assistance; transportation assistance; and emergency basic needs.

"When Francesca joined us, our annual fund raising campaigns averaged $5,000 in total contributions. As a direct result of her leadership and reorganization, we are now raising close to six figures. She has been singularly responsible for revitalizing our agency and the effectiveness of our programs," Ms. Berry-Toon continued. "As a successful businesswoman, she is able to provide invaluable assistance in the areas of employment, job training and seminars for re-entry into the job market.
