JAMES ALEXANDER ENHANCES PLASTIC AMPOULE PRODUCT LINE WITH DIVERSE APPLICATOR TIPS

BLAIRSTOWN, NJ- James Alexander Corporation has added a number of applicator tips to complement its Plastic Ampoule product line. “Our newly identified applicator tips allow us to offer a variety of choices to our customers having an application for the swab version of our Plastic Ampoule,” indicated JAC President Francesca Fazzolari.

“We recognized soon after developing the Plastic Ampoule that we would need to expand our offering of applicator tips in order to meet the needs of our diverse customer base. Our search for unique, innovative applicator tips took us many months, but we were fortunate to partner with a number of firms offering innovative applicators that will enhance the functionality of our Plastic Ampoule.”

James Alexander Corporation’s patented Plastic Ampoule (U.S. patent numbers 6,379,069 and 6,641,319) is an innovative unit dose package designed to eliminate the inconvenience of having to tear or cut the top of the package in order to dispense the contents. The Plastic Ampoule allows the user to activate the package with a gentle squeeze of one hand, rupturing the patented internal membrane. Another gentle squeeze then dispenses the contents onto the applicator tip. The rate and flow of the liquid is easily controlled by the user.

In addition to its standard cylindrical polyolefin applicator tip, JAC now offers a cylindrical tip with a centered hole for enhanced flow of product, a firmer Hytrel^®-nylon tip with a tapered design for more precise applications, and a series of brush applicator tips made in a variety of materials and configurations.
